I was told different things by different people. I rented furniture for 7 months. I decided to send it back and go with another set that better fit my living room colors. I was told I was going to get a $500 credit towards a new rental. My new rental was the second set. Then I was told I MIGHT be able to use it towards the end. Then I got a coupon in the mail for $130. I was unable to use that in the store either. One of the chairs had a hole in it. The delivery guy said I could go back in and get a discount. When I went in they said "Unfortunately we cannot do that". About two months later I decided I no longer wanted to rent furniture so I went in to tell them they could pick up the furniture and I would keep the lap top. I even paid a week ahead. The store manger talked me into keeping the Sofa and was willing to allow me to use the credit. I said great, I'll be back in on Friday to pay the Sofia in full and that will be that and you can take the rest. I went back into the store to pay and the other manager said "Sorry, we cannot separate sets". So I then said "Okay that's fine, you guys can pick it up".
Dont be late on your payments. They will try to charge you with felony theft and the letter states within one business day. They are the only company to consider saturday and sundays business days. Then you dont have all the money so you tell them your going to return the items and are available today for pickup. Nope doesnt work for them. Now we wait till tuesday for them and they wanna act rude and say somebody needs to be home like its our fault they wont come now. Now we have to store a extra refrigerator and stove all weekend waiting on them. Worst customer service ever. Crystal is a very rude lady id revommend rent a center if you live in london and must rent to own stuff. Much easier to get along with. Hope you find this helpful
My 11 year old daughter was home. I ran to the bank (around the corner). When I got home my daughter was terrified. She said someone came to the house and was literally banging on the door. My neighbor came over and said Rent to Own was here and they knocked loudly for a long time and everyone could hear and they even talked to me about your business and I told them that you left for a minute and they tried to say they seen you but I figured it was your daughter and I know you tell her not to answer people. I was LIVID.
Then to top things off they charged my card on file that I didn't authorize them to charge. And they even added an additional fee to it as well. I got a bank fee because there was barely any money in that account as I don't use that card for much.
